NEW INTERACTIVE ONLINE ADVICE SERVICES

Veterans-UK now offers access to two complimentary online advice services, both directing users to organisations who can help with an array of problems in life.

The first dedicated on-line advice facility especially for veterans.  The service guides you through a series of questions to identify where you live, your Service and the nature of your problem, before listing local contact points for organisations that can help.  Topics covered are:

• Money Matters
• Welfare
• Employment 

The StartHere information service is a self-help facility that links you to a wide range of organisations that can help when you have a problem. It covers a broad range of issues — including health, caring, families, education, employment, benefits, well-being and welfare rights.

Information is available on a much broader range of topics than the Veterans Knowledge Map, but contact points are also within a much wider geographical area.
